WHO:
Kingston Council’s Cycling Team provides subsidised training for young cyclists from Year 5 and above who live or attend a school in the Royal Borough of Kingston. All Bikeability training is delivered by accredited Instructors and leads to a certification required by many Primary and Secondary Schools.
WHAT:
Bikeability is the new Cycle Proficiency for the 21st century. It is the national standard for cyclist training to get more children cycling, more safely and more often. Read more about it on the Bikeability website.
Scooter Training
Schools in Kingston can receive scooter training for children in years 1&2. The training, which is delivered by accredited cycling instructors not only increases skills but also improves confidence, awareness and consideration of other pavement users. Please enquire with your school or contact the Cycling team.
