London Dynamo Have a New Junior Cycling Section - Sparks

Aged 8-15 and want to take up cycling, or improve your current skills?

London Dynamo Sparks is a Go-Ride club for riders aged from 8-15 years which forms part of British Cycling's development programme for young people. The club offers a wide range of different rides from Cyclocross to Track Racing and Time Trial to Trail Riding. 

Training is weekly on Saturday mornings at 9.45 - 11.30 am at Kew and Ham Sports Association Club House, Ham Playing Fields, Riverside Drive, Ham, TW10 7RU.

If you would like to train with the Sparks you will need a bike in good working order, a helmet, suitable clothing and a parental consent form (available on the day) - the charge is £5 per session to cover costs.

Become a cycling instructor

If you love cycling, you might consider becoming a cycling instructor. Whether you would like to make it a full-time job or you just want to pass on some skills at your local school or youth club, undertaking the National Standard Instructor training is the first step.

Kingston is the only London borough recognised as an instructor training organisation (ITO). Since 2007, we have trained more than 300 instructors for local authorities and independent providers.

Cycling is a fantastic way to exercise, travel, and enjoy the great outdoors. Wind in the hair (under your helmet of course), sunglasses on, and a picnic in your bag. However, not everyone sees it this way.
