Free Childrens Easter Holiday Cycling Courses

RBK Cycle Team are running Bikeability courses for children during the Easter holiday. These courses cover Bikeability levels 1 and 2

Even if your child has already achieved Bikeability level 1 the team recommend that they repeat the course to improve their safety on the road.
 
WHEN
The Easter courses are taking place on the following dates:
 
Monday 30 March to Thursday 2 April 2015
Course one -10am to 12 noon at FERN HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL
Course two - 10am to 12 noon at COOMBE GIRLS' SCHOOL

Tuesday 7 April to Friday 10 April 2015
Course three - 10am to 12 noon at FERN HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL
Course four  -10am to 12 noon at COOMBE GIRLS' SCHOOL
 
HOW MUCH
Courses are provided free of charge (subject to availability) as part of our road safety training programme and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 
 
RESTRICTIONS
To be eligible to apply, children must be in school year five and either live or go to school in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Become a cycling instructor

If you love cycling, you might consider becoming a cycling instructor. Whether you would like to make it a full-time job or you just want to pass on some skills at your local school or youth club, undertaking the National Standard Instructor training is the first step.

Kingston is the only London borough recognised as an instructor training organisation (ITO). Since 2007, we have trained more than 300 instructors for local authorities and independent providers.

Get involved?

Cycling is a fantastic way to exercise, travel, and enjoy the great outdoors. Wind in the hair (under your helmet of course), sunglasses on, and a picnic in your bag. However, not everyone sees it this way.

Therefore, CycleKingston is appealing to you to share the good, the bad (and the ugly?!) We want to hear your cycling experiences, news and showcase success stories along the way too.
