Join the Njinga Charity Santa Cycle 2017!

Over 100 Santas will be cycling the streets of South West London on 2nd December for Njinga's Charity Cycle in support of Shooting Star Chase Children's Hospice.

Njinga Cycling, the indoor cycling and performance lab based in Hampton Wick, are hosting their 5th Annual Charity Santa Cycle. After the huge success of their 4 previous Santa charity cycles, they are back bigger than ever this year once again helping to spread the Christmas joy to all the children at the Shooting Star Chase Children's Hospice.

On Saturday 2nd December at 08h30, the Njinga led Santas will be cycling a social and relaxed 18km from the Whole Foods in Richmond to the Children's hospice in Hampton, delivering 100s of presents to the deserving children who won't be able to leave the hospice over the Christmas period.

Join Njinga Cycling this Christmas and help spread the joy and festive spirit to the children of Shooting Star Chase Hospice. Entry is FREE, each rider will simply be responsible for buying at least one present for a child and must be wearing a Santa suit.

This is a Christmas event not to be missed! There's more information and you can sign up here

Become a cycling instructor

If you love cycling, you might consider becoming a cycling instructor. Whether you would like to make it a full-time job or you just want to pass on some skills at your local school or youth club, undertaking the National Standard Instructor training is the first step.

Kingston is the only London borough recognised as an instructor training organisation (ITO). Since 2007, we have trained more than 300 instructors for local authorities and independent providers.

You can read more about our training here, and learn more about being a Bikeability Instructor here

Get involved?

Cycling is a fantastic way to exercise, travel, and enjoy the great outdoors. Wind in the hair (under your helmet of course), sunglasses on, and a picnic in your bag. However, not everyone sees it this way.

Therefore, CycleKingston is appealing to you to share the good, the bad (and the ugly?!) We want to hear your cycling experiences, news and showcase success stories along the way too.

If you have material you think we should feature on the website, drop us an email on info@cyclekingston.net with the information and some images and we'll do our best to feature them.
