Go Cycle Roadshow and Public Dr Bike at Dickerage Sports Centre
Friday 28 Oct 2016
In 2014, Kingston was one of just three London Authorities who each won a bid for £30 million worth of funding from the Mayor of London and Transport for London for the purpose of improving cycling facilities and road safety and enhancing public spaces. The plan for Kingston, called Go Cycle, aims to relieve the pressure of a growing population on the borough’s transport network.
Come along to the Go Cycle Road Show and receive:
- Free bike checks from Dr. Bike - just bring your bike along and have it checked over by a qualified mechanic
- An overview of the Go Cycle project, see the route designs and plans and find out about consultation opportunities
- Advice from the Go Cycle staff about different cycling opportunities available in the borough
- Cycle skills training (there will be different bikes to try out)
- Free giveaways, prizes and games
